Anti-Lag! Use this before connecting to the server!

Download this to reduce all lag! MAC COMPATIBLE!

This application will allow you to download AND SAVE chunks of the world so you don't have to constantly request chunks of information from the server! This will automatically reduce your lag!!!

Directions:
It should look like the image above at the end. So just look at the picture and copy it exactly. The directions are always here for reference.

1. Download the jar file here.
2. Double click the jar file (or right click, open with, Java(TM) Platform SE Binary)
3. Under Remove Server in the Name box, type in mcserver1337.servegame.com
4. Under Remove Server in the Port box, type in 1440
5. Under Local Server in the Port box, type in 1440
6. Under the Max Size (MB) box, type in 256
7. Press Start!
8. Start Minecraft.
9. Click Multilayer (herp derp)
10. Type in localhost:1440
11. PLAY WITH NO LAG!!! :D

• Players can now LOCK and UNLOCK their CHEST by LEFT-CLICKING it with a Stick
• The player limit has been changed from 25 to 27

As most of you probably know, minecraft 1.6 comes out today. I just wan't to remind everyone. DO NOT UPDATE TO 1.6 until I post the announcement on the blog. I have to update the server before it will work with 1.6. It will take a few hours at most. Max, a day.

Changed apple spawn chance from 0.05 to 0.1

Changed cocoa spawn chance from 0.02 to 0.1

Golden Apples now have a .5% chance if spawning from broken leaves

Bandages are now properly configured and work by using paper

Cave-ins now have a 55% chance of happening

The world border is now properly configured so it will not trigger chunk generation

Sitting in a chair now heals you 1/2 heart every 5 seconds

Jail commands are now properly configured and uses MySQL to decrease server load

Ok guys I know I said that it would be up today around 12...some unexpected errors came up. I need to render the map to see it before I place the cities again. I started it at 11 with just the base zoom level. Well...I ran out of disk space and it crashed. So Im going to have to restart it.

Make no doubt. If all goes well, the server should be fully functional at 12 noon tomorrow. Sorry to let you guys down about that.

F***ING POWER

This is the 3RD F***ING TIME the power has gone out and now i have to wait another 5 DAYS for all this S*** to render AGAIN

F*** it im rendering a low quality map. It should be done in 3 hours and uploaded in 1.

Here is the screenshot viewer! Sorry for the slow load. Its coming from a bad server atm.

Here is my plan....

The map generator (Tectonicus) can currently render 8 chunks every 20 seconds.
Each chunk is 16 by 16 by 128. Thats 32,768 blocks.
The World consists of 133,243 chunks. (Thats 4,366,106,624 blocks)
So, at the current rate, the map is estimated to be done in 3.8554108796296296 (roughly 4) days.

During those 4 days I will learn java. Since its object oriented like Actionscript 3, it hopefully wont be that hard to learn. Ill practice it and try to make a functioning mod.

After the map is finished, I will plan the final layout of the world. Work a few weeks on some mods and some final touches, and then we can get out of phase 2 and proceed to phase 3.

Transfer

If you have a house or an area you REALLY like, I can transfer it over. We have plenty of room after all. It also saves you the time of doing it all over again. Simply compress your world folder into a zip, upload it to rapidshare, hotfile, or any other file sharing site. Then just post the link in the comments.

Please note the transfer process cannot be done when there are active players online. I usually wait till the night to get this kind of thing done. Also, I only transfer houses, monuments, or cities that will fit with the world (aka no dirt house you worked 5 minutes on).

Points of Interest

Elemental City

This city is composed of Earth, Fire, Air, and Water. Currently, it doesn't offer lots to live on but it truly is a site to see.

Newblock City

This city is where all the creators go. If you want free resources and space to create to your hearts content this is the place for you. Newblock is the first city to offer education at its university run by Scorch.

The Nature Zone

Made by yours truly, this place offers a nice area of relaxation. Consider it the nature reserve of our server. The World Tree is what keeps our trees alive after all.

Cloudcroft

This city, built in the sky, is one of the only areas where you can see all that you were meant to. In order to live here, your house must be made of only Iron and Glass. Don't worry. This is already provided at its supply center.

Iron City

Last, and definitely not least, is Iron City. This city is the central hub for all spawning players, trade, and...well people. Iron City is in charge of supplying iron to Cloudcroft along with maintaining the Rail Network.

Currently the server is in phase 2 of production. What does that mean? Basically, I still need to program or add more mods and finish up the world. The world is still under development, however, I am working on it. Soon the world will have oceans and islands and continents. This server will hopefully be the best it can as soon as it can.
